Slow Document Access

When users report that they can't open documents from LAMA or that documents open extremely slowly (e.g., several minutes), Service Desk will need to edit their Registry as follows:

1. In the Windows Search box type regedit and press Enter to access the Registry Editor.
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and locate System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Lanmanworkstation\Parameters.
3. Create a new DWORD value for DirectoryCacheLifetime.
4. Double-click the value and set it to zero (0).
