Saving document to local drive

Here is how you might go about it if it is a .pdf file. It will be generally the same process regardless, but I've tailored the screenshots and process to .pdf's.

  1. Open the document
  2. Go to File > Save As > Browse

  3. Find your local drive under "This PC" and navigate to the location you wish to save the document. For example, choose "C on [computer name]", then your "Users" directory, click your user name, and then select the folder you wish to save to (like "Documents")

Any locally mapped drives will appear here as well. If not, try logging out of Parallels.

  4. (Optional) While your doing this process and you wish to have quick access to this folder again in the future, it would be a good idea to pin that folder to your quick access to save a bit of time. To do that, right click on the folder and then choose "Pin to Quick Access".
