Removing Duplicative Web Users

If the applicant has two web user accounts, the best way to proceed is to:

  1.  Find out which one they do not want to use, and go to the Requests Tab in LAMA.
  2.  Click on the Search button above the grid.
  3.  In the Keyword field, type in the email associated with the account that they do not want to use.
  4.  Click OK.
  5.  Click on the Code for the New User request in the grid.
  6.  On the pop-out click on the on the left of the "Public User Account Field" located next to the Name.
  7.  Highlight the LAMA Contact associated with the account, then
  8.  Click the Remove Contacts button. This deactivates the web user account associated with the undesired email.

After doing this, you should be able to return to the Contacts screen and merge the contacts. (Note, you might have refresh or search for them again.)
